Safe in the Rockies!

Posted on Friday 2 September 2005

Thanks for all the prayers! Megan (my daughter) and I left Saturday night for the Northshore, and then Sunday morning for Leesville, LA (northwest). The Lord blessed us with friends who knew all the back roads, so we had no traffic. After the damage reports we left for Colorado to join my wife at my Mom’s house. I don’t know if I have anything belongings left. Our apartment is on the second floor in one of the highest areas in New Orleans. So far it sounds like everything is above the water line. (Except Megan’s car) However it works out I know the Lord will provide.

They announced today that classes would resume in an online format for this semester. At this point they are not planning on having classes on campus until August 2006. We have not decided when to return.

whatever situation I am to be content. I know how to be brought low,
and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned
the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. I can do
all things through Him who strengthens me. Yet it was kind of you to
share my trouble”. Philippians 4:11-14 ESV

Thanks again for your prayers!

In Christ, Greg
