Brothers We Are NOT Professionals is a thought-provoking read, well organized in short sections for the busy minister. Any pastor, particularly those who feel they have stepped into pastoral quicksand, can be revived by reading, and praying, and applying the divine direction this book can initiate.
Being an innovator isn’t about some artificial “cutting edge.” It’s about being yourself and being absolutely true to the calling God has placed on your life. God doesn’t use the wrong tool for the job. If He has called you to student ministry He will also equip you for His service and His glory.
We must concentrate on the fundamentals of grace and redemption to deepen our students understanding of the Gospel. We must be innovative in how we relate to the students in our ministries through the leading of the Holy Spirit. Or . . . Talk to the hand!
